A 100% Shiraz from the Lepp Vineyards in Niagara on the Lake. The 2015 Shiraz was tank fermented; a final blend of 50% aged in stainless steel and 50% aged in 2-3 year old French and American oak barrels for 9 months.
This wine is fruit forward with aromas and flavours of red raspberry, blueberry and plum with hints of clove, white pepper and lavender. It is medium bodied with lively acidity.
Food Pairings: Grilled and roasted meats and vegetables as well as pasta with tomato sauce.
