Weddings – Intimate, Elegant and Unique

At Peninsula Ridge we specialize in small, intimate and unique weddings that cater to couples who truly want an unforgettable experience. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario including the Toronto Skyline and of course our pristine vineyards. We have purposely kept the venue small (50 to 65 guests) so that we can provide for a very distinct and personalized level of service.

Our culinary team takes great pride in customizing our guests dining experience using fresh locally grown produce (often grown right down the street) served by skilled, professional and friendly staff. Our reputation for epicurean excellence is often one of the main reasons why couples choose Peninsula Ridge.

Peninsula Ridge is a very special place and is perfect for hosting the most important day of your life, particularly if you are looking for an experience that is intimate and unique. Is the size of your wedding too big for us? We are also the picture-perfect setting for your bridal shower, engagement party or rehearsal dinner.

WITH WEDDING SEASON FAST APPROACHING, HERE IS WHATS TRENDING WITH OUR "2018 BRIDAL BEAUTIES"

The Event
Keeping it Simple: Intimate weddings provide a chance to interact with your loved ones in ways that simply aren’t possible when the guest count tops 100. Plus, smaller gatherings give you more room to show off your personalities. Food is often the focal point of these celebrations, with couples working closely with caterers to put together a menu that’s personal and special. These celebrations lend themselves to tighter table arrangements and warmly lit surroundings so guests feel as if they’re at a fabulous, elegant dinner party. “The look and vibe is down to earth, approachable, but special,”

The Décor
Fantasy florals, bold color combinations, show stopping backdrops, are the in-demand trend for table settings, invitations and more.

Color is Back- Color is an easy way to bring in your personality. Keep an eye out for warm corals; brighter pinks, purples and blues; and moody jewel tones. Or do something completely unexpected and pair high contrast colors, like cherry red and aqua, pink flamingo and Kelly green, or lemon yellow and tangy orange. Don’t limit your color use to the flowers or table linens — colored glassware is an unexpected touch that elevates any tables cape.

Copper- Moving on from rose gold accents, 2018 will see similar metallic touches in the form of a more industrial look copper. The great thing about this material, is that it’s super cheap! But looks so effective - especially when reflecting candle light - so lanterns and tea light holders will be key. You can also incorporate copper details in cups, cutlery, chairs and even ribbons. The effect will particularly look great for an autumnal wedding color palette.

Quirky Dessert Tables
While we’re still obsessed with our wedding cake or alternative - doughnuts and macaroons, 2018 will see more brides going for a dessert table over the traditional last course. This way you can get really experimental. Choose cheesecake, meringues, multiple flavors of cookies and you can even add a wedding trifle into the mix! This way, everyone gets more dessert - what’s not to love?

Gowns- 3D Florals
2018 brings in a whole new season of wedding dresses and we’re seeing a lot of romantic flowers adorning otherwise fairly minimal gowns and veils. For inspiration, look to Viktor & Rolf or Oscar de la Renta, who have nailed the whimsical feel perfectly.
Extravagant Capes Wedding cover ups are back in a big way… Inspired by the catwalk, chic flowing capes are a huge trend for brides getting married in 2018. Choose full length flowing numbers or heavily embellished styles to make a big entrance.
