2020 Beal Vineyard Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Big, bold, and bodacious. Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon will not be a disappointment to those who are fans of this grape varietal. Unlike California Cabernets, this wine maintains a refreshing acidity that comes with being grown in a cooler climate region. This full-bodied red wine has beautiful aromas of blackberry, black currant, dark cherry, and just a hint of smoke. In addition, notes of leather and freshly ground coffee linger on the nose. With firm tannins and a long warm finish, this is a wine best served alongside rich grilled meats.

We only make this wine in the very best years; it was last made in 2016! Perfectly ripe grapes from our own vineyard were Cold soaked prior to fermentation and fermented at warm temperatures, in neutral stainless-steel tanks, to extract optimum flavours and soft tannins. Twice daily pump-overs were performed to promote gentle extraction from skins. Aged up to 14 months in 1st and 2nd fill French and American barrels.
