2020 McNally Vineyards Reserve Malbec
A rarity among Niagara grape varietals, this small-lot 2020 Malbec from McNally Vineyards is only made as a single varietal in the most exceptional of vintages. Infamous for its opaque purple coloring, our 2020 Malbec also presents strong aromas of dark cherry, cassis, and plum. With subtle notes of dried thyme and leather, this juicy medium-bodied wine will not disappoint.

A warm fermentation in neutral 1-tonne bins. Punch downs were performed at least twice daily to encourage the extraction of tannins and dark colours from the skins. After fermentation was complete, extended maceration on skins was executed to further enhance aromas. Aged up to 18 months in 1st and 2nd fill French and American barrels.
